Common Data Elements (CDE) Author for RadElement
This is an online opportunity.
Time Committment: Authoring a new CDE may take a few hours to a few days if collaborating with other authors. This opportunity can be reoccurring or one-time. A volunteer can contribute one or more CDEs in their area of specialty. The work is conducted entirely online.
About Common Data Elements (CDEs)
Common Data Elements (CDEs) are standardized sets of questions and allowable answers used to express observations in diagnoses. The project involves the authoring of new CDEs.
About the Project:
This is an ongoing project. The goal is to continue to grow the current collection of CDEs and to eventually include a comprehensive library covering different specialties and use cases.
Qualifications:
Radiologists experienced in their respective subspecialties with an ability to contribute CDEs with the goal of enhancing radiology reporting, data analysis and decision support.
Selection Process:
Common Data Element (CDE) Steering Committee members will evaluate interested volunteers from RSNA’s membership, or the membership of subspecialty societies.
