The Medical Student Task Force (MSTF) is a group of 20 medical students from around the world who are passionate about radiology. The overarching goal of the MSTF is to keep medical students informed about events and opportunities that are available to them in the field of radiology.
The MSTF is composed of RSNA member medical students dedicated to the advancement of radiology in medical education and interested in identifying and creating involvement opportunities for medical students within the field of radiology
Who Can Participate
The MSTF seeks creative and passionate students that are looking to further the reach of radiology education. Participants must be medical students and members of RSNA.
The Work You'll Do
Under the direction of the RSNA Resident and Fellow Committee, the Medical Student Outreach Subcommittee will work with the Medical Student Task Force to accomplish the following:
- Address the lack of radiology content within both the didactic and clinical components of medical school.
- Work to identify and create engagement opportunities for medical students within the expanding field of radiology.
- Serve as the voice for trainees interested in radiology to promote the expansion of mentorship, knowledge, volunteerism, and research.
- Recruit dedicated individuals that aim to improve the future of patient-centered care in radiology.
Time commitment is one hour a week or less, depending on the projects that you are working on. Examples of projects include the Med Student Pulse newsletter, with more projects in the pipeline. We are excited to see what the future holds for the MSTF!
